Two established businesses with five-star reputations and an online presence that does not reflect either of them.

This is not unusual. The best wellness businesses in Wellington are run by people who are brilliant at what they do in the room. The marketing is always the thing that slips. Not because it is not important. Because there are never enough hours.

Haylo has posted more than most businesses ever will and the follower count has not kept pace. Volume is not the problem. The strategy behind the content is.

Facebook is doing more work than Instagram. Haylo has 1,341 Facebook likes compared to 973 Instagram followers, which tells me the existing audience skews older. Instagram is where the next generation of loyal clients is searching. That is the channel to build.

A smaller base retainer to cover my time, plus 10% of every new client booking my marketing generates. If the content brings in $2,500 of new bookings that month, I earn $250 on top of the base. If it brings in nothing, I only earn the base.
